“You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do”.
I came across this quote the other week when designing a workshop for 200 people on “Purposeful Work”.
(I’m doing a lot of designing & delivering keynotes/ workshops for organisations at the moment, and LOVING it π)
I love a good quote – they can bring concepts to life so effectively π
We may have brilliant intentions – about the kind of leader, employee, or colleague we want to be (never mind partner, parent, or friend!) π€©
But these intentions are meaningless unless we actually demonstrate behaviours that make these intentions real πͺ
π€ Do you want to be seen as a decisive leader?
β¨ Then act decisively, and not take 3 days to take a decision.
π€ Do you want to be considered compassionate?
β¨ Then choose to be a good listener, and consider the feelings of those around you.
So this week, you can ask yourself that question:
π€ are you living up to the version of leader that you want to be? What changes might you want to make to demonstrate those qualities even more? ππ§‘πͺ
Wishing you a positive, productive, and ACTION-BASED-ON-INTENTION-filled week! ππ₯πͺ
with much love ππ§‘
